I have a recipe for these lovely pinwheels things--meat, cream cheese, chives usually an lovely flatbread--I make mine from scratch, but I think Wal-Mart carries appropriate flatbread by a name of "fold outs." Rolled up and slice--easy peasy. They keep well and can be made ahead. I'd gladly share recipes with you, I've got tons of recipes out currently to prepare a finger food spread for an upcoming gathering.

Side note: Careful asking Paula--ready to eat pumpkin pie queen!!!

DustyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31830055.post-83435279839944009842008-04-26T21:54:00.000-04:002008-04-26T21:54:00.000-04:00I make the meatballs with grape jelly and chili sa...I make the meatballs with grape jelly and chili sauce...so good. I also had a friend do a baked potato bar, but she served mashed potatos in wine glasses and had tons of topping for them. Really neat idea!ursulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02342355902381820179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31830055.post-14650664700069857432008-04-17T12:16:00.000-04:002008-04-17T12:16:00.000-04:00Why not have an american going away party? HOWEVER, I AM a partygoer and I knows what I likes:

Cocktail wienies...I hear that you do something with grape jelly? Weird, but tasty.

Fondues- chocolate. Anything dipped in chocolate. Fruit I LOVE dipped in chocolate, oranges, strawberries, bananas. You can use pretzel sticks as the "spears" and you can eat them too! Do you have a chocolate fountain? Know where you can borrow one?

Uhmmm...what else? I love, party punch...my fave is a gingerale/orange sherbet combo. Easy. Tasty. Good!

Cupcakes are all the rage instead of cakes...AND you can enlist tates help on such things!

Hope ANY of this is helpful! :-)Paula Clarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06572562635544226495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31830055.post-80332203514990054662008-04-16T14:41:00.001-04:002008-04-16T14:41:00.001-04:00Taco bars are fun and easy.. so here are a few of ...Taco bars are fun and easy.. so here are a few of my favs...
hot wings
salmon dip
fruit trays w/yummy fruit dip
chili pie w/fixin's
kabobs, chicken, shrimp, steak, veggies....

I hope you have a wonderful time!!alittlebitofscraphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06868031136933111908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31830055.post-48501489766858685892008-04-16T14:41:00.000-04:002008-04-16T14:41:00.000-04:00i recently attended a going away party and they di...i recently attended a going away party and they did an international spread... it was so much fun & YUMMY! all apps.. sushi, indian, chinese, spanish, italian and good ole american... tiny burgers. it was a great way to celebrate their going away... hope this is helpful! lisaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
