Advantages: English Cottage Character, Amazing Gardens.
**Both are a good size, near good schools, priced similarly (housing allowance covers it), and can house GUESTS:)
Kitchen Kitchen Kitchen! Where do you spend most of your time? The kitchen is gorgeous!
Although new homes are great (and less drafty), there is so much charm to an older home. My vote is for the cottage. Of course, I am currently influenced by all the Jane Austen movies I've watched while working on a sewing project this summer! It seems idyllic to me!
No contest. Cottage. LOL, Valli
When will you ever get to live in an English cottage? They are both beautiful, but I LOVE the cottage!
I LOVE the English cottage...and what an opportunity to say, (in a snobby British tone of course) "I lived in an English cottage in Bahhhhhhth, England!" It is beyond gorgeous!
