My Sister

While this is usually a place for lighthearted and creative stuff...I take time out for an anniversary I would rather not celebrate.

A year ago, my sister was murdered. She laid in a hospital bed until Mar 29th when she finally found peace. I miss her every day, but I know she is happy and I am still very much connected to her.

my sister...full of spunk.

I am so sorry for the loss that you had to feel. I would be devastated if this happened to me and my sister, so I can only imagine what it can be like for you. I am glad that she is in a better place!

What a beautiful tribute to your sister....I know she is loving it. It is something only a sister could create.

Hey Darlin,

What a lovely tribute to Karen. I think my Goddaughter everyday and know that she is smiling down on all of us and laughing and smiling at all that goes on.

Love you,

Uncle Jim

Hi Cat, I know today is a HARD day for you. As you know I just celebrated 5 years earlier this month of my sister being gone. March is a hard month. What a Tribute you have for Karen...God Bless you and know I am ALWAYS here for you.

Dear, dear Cat,
How utterly miserable the grief must be...please know that you are NOT supposed to be "over it" a year later...2 years later...even 10 years later. You move on, you keep living and breathing, but your life is never the same. It's that "puzzle with a missing piece" analogy again. The "picture" of your life will never look the same.

I know how hard it was for you to post this tribute...it's a strong step in a positive direction. I'm sure your sister is smiling...

Take comfort in knowing you are not alone, you are thought of, cared about, and prayed for...especially today.

Peace and comfort, dear friend.

Oh Cat, I am terribly sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine the pain you must feel. But it must be comforting knowing your sister is always with you now and will always be watching down over you. Hugs to you.

Oh Cat! I am so, so sorry that you and your family had to go through this...I can't even imagine.
You are a great sister though, for this tribute.
